Particulate trap filter is a main part which determines the ability of reducing PM (Particulate matter) from diesel exhaust. FiberTech¡¯s DPF trap has so many soot containing ability (up to 10g/L) and low pressure drop (Fresh : 20mbar, at 10g/L : 300mbar) because the structure of filter is composed by fiber bundle and wall flow filtering structure.
 
Particulate Matters are gathered on a metal fiber surface when the PM passes through a metal fiber bundle.
This filtering theory is a same as a depth filtering.
 
FiberTech¡¯s filter reduces particulate matter minimum 65%. And the removal efficiency is maintained when soot is collected till 10g/L. And under this soot accumulated condition, differential pressure is lower than 300mbar.
